New electronic piece for church

First performance of the new work ”white as snow” commissioned from the Limhamn church in Malmö. The piece is written for fixed media electronics, video and optional instruments and is performed in the Easter Vigil, in the night between Holy Saturday and Easter Day.

It is a unique project leading towards a new way of using new media in church services, as the music is commissioned to enhance the traditional instruments in the church.

New choral piece in Vadstena

Rosa Rorans Bonitatem, a new piece for choir and optional computer is premiered. The piece is based on or referring to St. Birgitta especially written to the church (with 7 seconds of reverberation!) and commissioned by the choir Mälarton from Stockholm.

Other pieces by Klaverdal: Hör, rösten från himlen (choir version and version for solo and piano),  Klart porlande vatten, När nattens mörker föll. Also live performance by Klaverdal.

Ser du Människa? – music event and mass for choir, actors and computer

Ser du människa?”  is not only a concert. It is neither only a service or a play. It is perhaps a state of being, where you are invited to meditate.
Based on texts from the Book of Revelations, Olof Hartman, and Arne H Lindgren this event explores ways of relating to text, sounds, music and space  within the context of the church, containing a choir, actors, computer, and a mass.

The event is a part of  a larger project including a sound installation and readings of the texts.  This event occurs as part of the Lund International Choral Festival and readings of the texts in relation to the installation.

Ser du människa? – sound installation in Lund

4 speakers, 4 distance sensors (IR), computer, specially designed hardware.
The sound is based on recordings of actors Per Löfberg and Kerstin Andersson reading from the Book of Revelations and more. The installation is interactive, meaning that you as audience can change it by your placement in the room.

The installation in a part of a larger project including a choir piece and mass during Lund International Choral Festival and readings of the texts in relation to the installation.

[Gud?] Eftertänksam musik – en visuell meditation / Thoughtful music – a visual meditation

This is not a concert. It is not a sermon or a play. Perhaps it is a kind of being, or a possibility to receive music and visual scenography in a moment of stillness, reflection and inspiration.The event consists of new music for voice, bass clarinet, organ and computer in combination of visual scenography with video, lights, shadow play and much more.
